State Grant Allows SNSD To Implement PLCs

Smackover-Norphlet School District teachers are currently benefiting from a grant awarded last spring, with the end goal being an even more significant benefit to SNSD students in the near future. SNSD faculty are undergoing training provided by Solution Tree, a professional development company out of Bloomington, Ind., to implement a program of Professional Learning Communities, or PLCs.

SNSD School Choice Application Process

The Smackover Norphlet School District is excited to announce we are currently accepting applications under the School Choice program. The application deadline is May 1, 2023.

Richard Ray Selected As SNSD Zone 6 Director

The Smackover-Norphlet School District Board of Directors selected Mr. Richard Ray to fill the open director's position for Zone 6 during a special called meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Mr. Ray will serve on the board until the next board election scheduled for May 9, 2023.
