HOSA (Future Health Professionals)

HOSA – Future Health Professionals is an internationally recognized organization. Members of HOSA are involved with many community events, gaining community service hours, host fundraiser events, and compete in State and National competitions.

HOSA members dive into leadership, communication, networking, and medical developing skills. Smackover HOSA’s Officers made their first appearance in three (3) years to the Fall Leadership Conference November 2022 and utilized these skills by speaking with other chapter officers and networking with Arkansas State employees. Also, in March 2023, Smackover HOSA made their first appearance in three (3) years to the State Competition. Smackover had one student move on to the second round of competition, one student run for a state officer position and one student win 2nd place overall in Health Career Photography which qualified her for the International Competition.

Smackover HOSA is ‘Daring to Create’ and ready to reach even more milestones this year!
