The Battlin’ Buckaroo Band has two important announcements for band families and supporters.
The band is selling tickets for a chance to win a pallet of deer corn. Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20 and may be purchased from any band student.
The drawing will be held Tuesday, September 22. Proceeds will help the band travel to away games, participate in competitions, purchase instruments, and meet other program needs.
A special thank-you goes to Henley Feed Store for supporting the fundraiser.
Band parents are also invited to attend an important meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 24, in the band room on the Norphlet Middle School campus.
Parents are encouraged to attend as the band works to build stronger support for its students, musicians, and entire program.

The Smackover Junior High cheerleaders are selling vintage-style uniforms and blow-up clappers throughout the football season!
These spirited items will be available at all home varsity football games. Fans are encouraged to grab theirs, support Smackover Junior High Cheer, and help bring even more Buckaroo spirit to the stands.
