STATE CHAMPS! Lady Bucks Golf Brings Home Title

The Smackover Lady Buckaroos are state champions!

Smackover claimed the 2026 Class 3A Girls Golf State Championship at Russellville Country Club in Russellville, Arkansas, completing an outstanding season with the program’s ultimate achievement.

The Lady Bucks shot a 249, the lowest girls 3A championship score on record with the Arkansas Activities Association.

Members of the championship team include:

Kat Wolfe
Kalyn McDaniel
Jewel Arnold
Hannah Sexton
Sofie Pearson
Emerson Neal
Kannyn Preston

In addition to the team title, Kannyn Preston and Kat Wolfe both earned All-State honors.

The team is coached by Coach Hutch Preston.

Throughout the season, these student-athletes demonstrated tremendous dedication, discipline, teamwork, and Buckaroo pride. Their championship reflects countless hours of preparation and the support of their coaches, families, classmates, and community.
