The Arkansas Cinema Society and the University of Central Arkansas Film Department are teaming up with the El Dorado Film Festival (EDFF) to present the Filmland: Arkansas Showcase on Tuesday, November 19, at 6:00 p.m. at Stars Cinema 6, located at 2600 W. Hillsboro St. in El Dorado.

This free event will feature short films by Smackover High School graduates Javion Lee and Clayton Henderson, El Dorado native Alexander Jeffery, and Emily Railsback. The evening will also include a discussion on how Arkansans can get involved in the state’s growing filmmaking community.

A Filmmaker Mixer with snacks will be held before the showcase at 5:00 p.m. in the theater lobby.
